Bollywood actor Pran Krishan Sikant, most popularly known as ‘Pran’ has been chosen for the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award for this year. Pran will be bestowed this honour for lifetime achievement. Born on February 12, 1920, Pran acted in over 350 films and was awarded as the ‘Villain of the Millennium’ by Stardust in 2000.
Pran made his film debut in ‘Khandan’ in 1942 and there was no looking back after that. His last film was ‘Mrityudata’ in 1997. Pran mostly acted as a villain or a supporting actor in all films.
