TNI Bureau: Days after Saroj Sethi, a college student, from Jadupur village in Nayagarh district accused the head of the SIT, Arun Bothra of offering him Rs 5 lakh to own up the crime, the Special Investigation Team today picked him up along with two of his family members from the village for interrogation.
The investigating team is interrogating Sethy, his mother and sister at an undisclosed place in connection with the Pari murder case.
Sethi, on Thursday alleged that he has been falsely implicated in the case.
“The SIT members collected my blood and swab samples as well clothes from my house and assured me of reducing my age to prove that I am a juvenile if I confess to the crime I did not commit,” he alleged.
