Pakistan fails to break World Cup Jinx against India

TNI Bureau: Pakistan failed to India in an World Cup match yet again and went down by 8 wickets in the Super 8 match at the ICC Twenty20 World Cup in Sri Lanka. However, India finally won a match in Super 8 first time after 2007 World Cup victory. Virat Kohli yet again played a superb innings.

Pakistan bowled out for just 128 in 19.4 overs. Shoaib Malik scored 28, while Umar Akmal made 21. Balaji took three wickets, while Ashwin and Yuvraj Singh took two wickets each.

Chasing a victory target of 128, India reached 129/2 in 17 overs. Sehwag scored 29, while Kohli remained unbeaten on 78. Kohli was declared ‘Man of the Match’.
