NSUI’s Mumbai President Suspended for Naked Dance

The student wing of Indian National Congress, National Students Union of India (NSUI)’s Mumbai unit President Suraj Singh Thakur was suspended for allegedly dancing naked at a party.

The action was taken for his alleged dance on April 14 in Mumbai. Along with him, two other office bearers were also suspended. It is believed that Thakur and his associates were drunk at the party.

Thakur had been re-elected as the NSUI President of Mumbai unit in December 2012. He had come to limelight after protest against the book of AG Perarivalan, who had allegedly killed Rajiv Gandhi.
