TNI Bureau: World tech scenario in the context of iPhones seems to take a change sooner or later as the China Smartphones are on their way to outsmart Apple’s iPhones. The Chinese Smartphone market is believed to overtake the United States as the world’s largest market.
Recently Xiaomi Technology of China released the successor to its popular MiOne Smartphone, which is expected to have top-end specifications exceeding those of the iPhone 4S of Apple, at almost half the price. The company was founded just two years ago by Lei Jun, but already worth more than RIM, the blackberry maker, as per some private market valuations.
Tech analyzers believe that Apple is not going to rule China because of two aspects, firstly as it offers limited models and secondly due to the price points they target.
It is also learned that Apple’s iPhone sales in China, its second-largest market, slipped in April-June this year on inventory adjustments with the launch of the iPhone 4S and resellers didn’t need to buy as many iPhones during the quarter and the forthcoming launch of the iPhone 5 later this year, with enhanced Chinese language capabilities, also likely held back orders.
