Narendra Modi: “Der Aaye, Durust Aaye”

Date:

TNI Bureau” Gujarat CM Narendra Modi yet again outwitted his political opponents when it came to responding to an important event of national importance. Less than a hour after the TV channels broke out the news of Afzal Guru’s hanging, Narendra Modi hit the Twitter, saying “Der Aaye, Durust Aaye”.

Modi was referring to the unprecedented delay in hanging Afzal Guru, the key conspirator in 2001 Parliament Attack case. The delay was attributed to obvious political reasons by all, which the Congress always denied.

Modi expressed happiness that Afzal Guru was hanged finally, but he still pointed to the wrong side of the UPA Government with his tweet, “Der Aaye, Durust Aaye” (Better to be Late than Never).
