After a loss and another washout, Mumbai Indians finally registered their first win in the CLT20 2013, as they thrashed Highveld Lions by seven wickets. Lions had posted 140/3 in 20 overs. Symes (35) and Pretorius (31) were the top scorers. Pragyan Ojha took two wickets.

Mumbai Indians reached 141/3 in 18.3 overs and won the match by seven wickets. Tendulkar (5) failed yet again. Dwayne Smith scored 63 off 47 balls. Rohit Sharma made 20. Smith was declared ‘Man of the Match’.
