Madhya Pradesh finance minister Raghavji resigned from his post after his domestic help brought sodomy allegations against him. However, the senior BJP leader denied the charges and termed it ‘political conspiracy’ by the Congress.
Raghavji quit today after the complaint produced an obscene CD before the police alleging that Raghavji had been physically exploiting him for past three years alluring to give a permanent government job. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan immediately asked Raghavji to step down from his post without any delay soon after the serious allegation was brought against him.
The matter is under investigation. An FIR would be registered after verifying the charges levelled against the senior BJP leader. The complainant will undergo medical examination to know whether he was the victim of the unnatural sex.
