Lotus blooms in Haryana, BJP wins Huge

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is heading for a huge victory in Haryana. From just 4 seats they had won in 2009, they are now all set to form the next government in the state.

As per the trends received so far, BJP is leading in 50 out of 90 seats, while INLD is leading in 20 seats. The Congress is on third spot with 15 seats. The HJC is leading only in 2 seats.

In the 90-member assembly, BJP needs to win 46 seats to secure a simple majority. It will be the first BJP government in Haryana, which is the victory of Narendra Modi and Amit Shah. It would be interesting to see whether they finally secure the majority or not.
