The entire cost of the project will be Rs 18 crore. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has directed the Tourism Department to complete the work before Nabakalebara 2015 in Puri. It will be the first of its kind in Odisha although light and sound show remains a common feature at many tourist places across India.
Odisha Tourism & Culture Minister Ashok Panda, who was also present at the occasion, is said to be the man behind this welcome development.
