Though many features of the recently released Lava Xolo Q800 phone is identical to that of Sony’s existing Smartphone the Sony Xperia Z, it does not means that both can be seen as competitors despite the big difference in their prices. While the Sony Xperia Z costs Rs. 38,990, the Lava Xolo Q800 is priced at Rs. 12,499 in India.
Lava Xolo Q800 is no match to Sony Xperia Z because –
- Camera – While the Sony Xperia Z sports a 13 MP high-resolution rear camera with LED flash, auto focus and digital zoom and a 2 MP front facing camera, the Xolo Q800 has an 8 MP rear camera with 3264×2448 Pixels and 1.2 MP front cameras. Also the lowlight sensors equip the Xperia to take clear photos in both lowlight and strongly backlit conditions.
- Water proof and scratch proof – Xperia Z is crafted to be water-resistant, dust-resistant and tough enough to bear all such hazards to live till its claimed lifetime but the same features are absent in the Xolo one.
- Power – The Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core processor of the Xperia gives you super-fast performance, unparalleled graphics and efficient battery use with the help of it one can surf the Google maps, Stream the latest YouTube clips with LTE Or download the newest apps and run them without a hitch. On the other hand the Xolo is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor with Power SGX544 GPU which obviously can’t perform at par with the Xperia Z.
- Display – The
Xperia Z has a 5 inch display that allows you to discover the quick and easy way to wirelessly share music and photos from your Smartphone. Again, the one-touch mirroring with NFC technology lets you easily see content from your phone on your TV. Just touch your phone to your BRAVIA remote control and watch your photo or music pop up on the TV screen without the help of any cables or physical buttons. But the Xolo has a 4.5-inch (960 x 540 pixels) capacitive touch screen IPS display.
- Dimension – There is also a big difference in the dimensions of both the phones. While the Xperia is 71x139x7.9 mm, the Xolo Q800 is 67×135.5×9.6 mm.
These are only some points and there are even other features which places the Xperia Z in a superior status always. It is true that there is a wide gap between prices of both the phones, but still the Xolo is not a match to the Xperia Z.
