Baripada: JMM leader and former MP Sudam Marandi found himself in further trouble, as fresh cases were slapped against him even though he and his supporters got the bail in the case of violence. Marandi was sent to jail again yesterday.
The JMM leader slammed the BJD government and said he would continue his fight against Naveen Patnaik till the party is ousted from power. There is a buzz in Baripada that Marandi would join hands with Odisha Janmorcha leader Pyari Mohan Mohapatra during the upcoming ‘Kranti Samabesha’ in the town next month.
Ironically, Pyari had launched a tirade against the JMM four years ago, accusing the party and its leaders of corruption and crime. Now, in a desperate bid to oust Naveen Patnaik, both Pyari and JMM are set to join hands.
