Javed Miandad cancels India Visit

TNI Bureau: The outrage in India, thanks to a strong media, has forced former Pakistan cricket captain Javed Miandad to cancel his India visit, which was supposed to begin tomorrow. Miandad was scheduled to watch the India-Pakistan ODI in New Delhi on January 6.

Since Miandad’s son is married to underworld don Dawood Ibrahim’s daughter, many people questioned the government’s decision to grant him a visa to visit India. The government clarified that it followed the standard procedure, but people were not convinced. A major controversy was averted with Miandad’s decision to make retreat.
