ISL 2014: North East United beat Kerala Blasters

If all three goals scored yesterday between Kolkata and Mumbai belonged to the foreign players, today was no different. Spaniard Koke the winning goal in the 45th minute, as North East United defeated Kerala Blasters 1-0 to start their campaign on a positive note.

The North East side was definitely the better between two teams. They dominated the proceedings from the very beginning and ended things on a winning note. The Kerala Blasters tried hard, but failed to penetrate into the goal post of NorthEast team.

North East United will host Atletico de Kolkata in the next match. Kerala Blasters will play Chennaiyin FC in their next encounter.
