Call it as a blessing in disguise, but India needed it desperately. After the mauling in the hands of the West Indies at Kochi, Dhoni wanted an experience bowler, and he got it in the form of Ishant Sharma, who replaced injured Mohit Sharma in the squad.

Mohit Sharma has been ruled out of the remaining marches of the series due to injury. Ishant, a regular member of the Test team, had last played the ODI against New Zealand in January 2014.
Mohit Sharma had conceded 61 runs in 9 overs in the Kochi ODI. India had lot he match by 124 runs. The second ODI between India and the West Indies ll be held in Delhi tomorrow.
