India win Kabaddi World Cup for Men & Women

TNI Bureau: India won the Kabaddi World Cup in both men’s and women’s categories. In men’s final, they thrashed Pakistan 59-22 to score a hattrick title victory. In women’s section, India defeated Malaysia 72-12.

The Pakistan did not get a chance to fight back, as India dominated the proceedings from the beginning till the end. In women’s final, the Malaysian eves were no match to the Indians.

The Indian Men’s Team got Rs 2 crore as the cash prize. Pakistan bagged Rs 1 crore. Canada finished third and received Rs 51 lakh. At least 16 countries took part in the Kabaddi World Cup.
