TNI Bureau: The sting operation on six international umpires, which was conducted by INDIA TV, has shocked the cricket world. The umpires were caught on camera, expressing their willingness to manipulate the decisions in return of huge cash.

The umpires involved in the scandal, included Nadeem Ghauri and Anees Siddiqui of Pakistan, Nadir Shah of Bangladesh, and Gamini Dissanayake, Maurice Winston and Sagara Gallage of Sri Lanka.

The ICC has taken a serious note of the exposure. It has sought full details from INDIA TV. Once the details are verified, strong action will be taken against the guilty umpires, the ICC sources said.
