Hindu Janajagruti Samiti demands ‘Hindu Nation’

The Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, a national level organization that fights for Hinduism, has demanded for establishment of ‘Bharat’ as a Hindu nation. The issue was raised by the top leaders of the organization at a press meet held in Bhubaneshwar today.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Pingale, National Guide of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) said that the current political leadership is taking Hindus for granted and making a hue and cry about religious matters of Hindu temples. He argued that when it comes to issues of Bangladeshi infiltration, religious conversion, minority appeasement, assault on Hindus and such other matters, these leaders keep mum. He was of the opinion that the present secular political system and all the political parties have failed to offer good governance to the nation. He also put light on the vote bank politics and said that vote bank politics has created a rift and the appeasement of minorities by all political parties has reached to the zenith.

Anil Dhir, National Convenor, Bharat Rakshaya Manch as well as national organizer of JKS condemned demolition of the temples in Cuttack. He argued that Odisha state government went on demolishing the temples and other Hindu religious edifices without examining the facts and ignoring the Hindu sentiments of the majority of Hindus. He also told that, on the other hand, when an IAS officer Durga Shakti Nagpal ordered for demolition of an illegal wall in a mosque she was suspended by the anti-Hindu samajwadi government whereas in Odisha the state government along with state police took much interest in destroying the idols of the Deities in Cuttack.

Chittaranjan Sural, national organizer of HJS intimated that a state level Hindu Convention will be held in October 2013 at Bhubaneswar and His Holiness Jagadguru Shankaracharya Nischalanand Saraswati of Gobardhan Pith Puri will grace the occasion.

Prakash Malondkar, Odisha Convenor of HJS and Vinayaka Shanbhag of Sanatan Sanstha were also present during the press meet.
