‘Hatemonger’ MIM MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi Arrested

TNI Bureau: All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM) MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi, who had been booked for allegedly delivering hate speech against a particular community and evading arrest on medical grounds, was finally arrested after undergoing medical test at Gandhi Hospital in Hyderabad.

The medical report says that he has hernia problem and there is pressure on his sciatic nerves due to his bullet injuries. He is also weak and unable to walk for long distances due to pressure on right thigh that was due to bullet injuries.

He was examined by a team of doctors including a cardiologist, orthopedician and a general surgeon amidst tight security. The investigating officer of Adilabad police was also present.

Despite Owaisi’s efforts not to appear before the police station, he was finally arrested. On Monday, he had moved the Andhra Pradesh High Court seeking a stay order on his arrest citing ill health.
