TNI Bureau: In order to take on Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi, Gujarat Parivartan Party leader Keshubhai Patel has given ticket to slain BJP leader Haren Pandya’s wife Jagruti Pandya for the upcoming assembly polls. She will contest from Ahmedabad’s Ellis Bridge constituency.

Jagruti joined Keshubhai’s party saying she did not receive any support from the BJP after his husband’s death. She may get sympathy votes in the polls.

Haren Pandya was killed in 2003. But his family alleged Modi of having hands behind the murder.
