Govt. Sanctions Rs. 471 Crores for NH 60

TNI Bureau: The much awaited funds of Rs. 471 Crores has been at last sanctioned on the efforts of Union Minister Srikanta jena for the renovation work on National Highway no.60.

NH- 60, which connects Chennai to Kolkata via Jaleswar, was led in 2003. However, the highway in Odisha is being greatly damaged through ravaged cyclone and flood during 2008.

Hence, there has been a public demand for an urgent need of repair work of this NH in this region.

“The funds shall be used for renovation and construction of 125 numbers of culverts & 55 numbers of small bridges connecting this highway,” said the minister.
