TNI Bureau: Hectic activities are being witnessed inside the BJP today after Ram Jethmalani dropped a bombshell, hinting at the revolt within the party. The beleguered BJP President, Nitin Gadkari has sought the support of Sushma Swaraj and Arun Jaitley to save his chair, but this is very unlikely that he could get away this time.

If we believe the latest media reports, veteran BJP leader LK Advani may take over as the BJP President on an interim basis. However, it’s not yet known whether the RSS would support the idea.

Senior BJP leaders Jaswant Singh and Yashwant Sinha have reportedly turned against Nitin Gadkari and have the support of many others within the party, who do not want to see Gadkari as the President. The BJP Core Group will meet at 5 PM to take a definite stand on this matter.
