TNI Bureau: At a time, when people across the state are preparing to welcome the New Year, the Mao posters by the Malkangiri Division Committee CPI (Maoist) stuck at different public places at Malkangiri district headquarter, has created a havoc in the district.
The posters are seen at different government and private office premises including the District Collector’s office, Panchabati Gas Agency office, Petrol Pump and Bus stand etc.
It has been written in the posters that the Maoists had not taken any monetary amount from the government to free either the BJD MLA Jhina Hikka or the former Collector Vineel Krishna.
The Maoists have condemned allegations of the mediator Dandapani Mohanty and Mao leader Sabyasachi Panda, who had said that the Maoists were paid Rs. 6 crore to release the hosts. They have said these allegations to be false and written that this deteriorates their ideal.
It has further been demanded in the posters that the government should free the innocent Adivasi people whom the police has put in the jail in the name of Maoists.
The Mao posters have created fear among the people of the district as they are now scared to come out to celebrate the New Year.
