Forbes Celebrity 100: Shah Rukh Khan beats Salman, Dhoni

TNI Bureau: Bollywood actor Salman Khan might have a number of fans across India, but Shahrukh Khan is the Baadshah of the industry. He might not have received the filmfare award for last two years, but he is India’s No.1 Celebrity with an earning of Rs 202.80 crore between September 2011 and October 2012.

Forbes India has come up with its list of top 100 Indian celebrities in which King Khan has topped the list beating all the celebrities. While Salman Khan stood second, Indian Cricket Team captain MS Dhoni is ranked third in the list.

However, Salman and Dhoni are ahead of King Khan in terms of popularity and fame. SRK topped the list in terms of earnings. While he earned Rs 202.8 crore, Salman earned Rs 144.2 crore and Dhoni Rs 135.16 crore in the period between October 2011 and September 2012.

Apart from trio, Akshay Kumar, Amitabh Bachchan, Sachin Tendulkar, Kareena Kapoor, Virender Sehwag, Virat Kohli and Katrina Kaif are in the top 10 list.

Forbes India shortlisted the names from the different categories like Film actors, directors, sport stars, TV personalities, singers/musicians, authors, models and comedians.
