Bhubaneswar: The students of Odisha will get a right platform to expose their talents through TV reality show. ‘Odisha Talent Hunt’, education based Reality TV Show, aims to bridge the gap between talent and education in the state.
The show will raise the value of education in Odisha. It will help to empower the participants by exposing their talents and abilities. Giving details about the show, which is jointly organised by SDM Foundation and Paramahansa Foundation, Mr Sambit Kumar Panigrahi (President of Paramahansa Foundation) said that the primary vision of the show is to find talent and give unique platform for the new era of education with its pioneered step of Entertainment Education (EE) in Odisha.
Addressing a press meet at Hotel Trident in Bhubaneswar on Thursday, the organisers said that the competition will be for the students of the age group of 13-16 in the state. Besides Mr Panigrahi, speakers Mr. Jetendra Mahapatra, Mrs. Sushmita, Mr. Debasis Sahoo, Mr.Pappu, Mr.Digvijay Singh, Mr.S.K.Panigrahi were present at the meet.
To participate in the show, the students need to qualify the written preliminary Test in the first round. After the selection, they need to appear various educational topic in the next rounds.
The Winners in the final round will compete for the crown, awards and certification. The winner will get Rs. 5 lakh and study package. The first Runner-up will be awarded the Prize of Rs. 3 Lakh and study package, 2nd Runner-up prize with Rs. 2 lakh and study package. Many other consolation prizes like laptop, notebook, tablets, cash awards for further studies etc will be offered for the participants. The Winners of the schools and teachers will also get cash awards and emblem.
The Preliminary Written test will be conducted in 3 phases in the month of February, March and April. The written test will be held as per district basis and further rounds will be taken in Bhubaneswar.
