TNI Bureau: The Delhi police today slapped fresh charges against former Haryana minister Gopal Kanda and his aide Aruna Chaddha a day after former airhostess Geetika Sharma’s mother committed suicide at her residence on Friday evening.

A case has been registered under Section 306 (abetment of suicide) against Kanda and Chaddha. Both are already in judicial custody in the Geetika Sharma’s suicide case.

Anuradha Sharma was found hanging from a ceiling fan in her house in Ashok Vihar area last evening. She left a suicide note blaming Kanda, who is accused in Geetika’s suicide case.

In the suicide note, Anuradha Sharma mentioned that she was under depression since her daughter’s death. She blamed Kanda and Chaddha for her daughter’s death.

Mrs Sharma had also written a letter to her son Ankit Sharma explaining the reason why she took the step to end her life.
