TNI Bureau: After spending over a year in wilderness, explosive West Indies opener Chris Gayle is all set to return to the international cricket, when he takes his guard against England in the first ODI at Southampton on Saturday.
Chris Gayle, who has scored over 8,000 runs in 228 ODIs with 19 hundreds, was ignored for the last one year after he refused to accepts the terms and conditions put forth by the West Indies Cricket Board.
Chris Gayle recently signed a deal with the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) after making peace. Gayle was sacked from the team after he criticised Coach Ottis Gibson and other senior cricket officials.
Chris Gayle was the most successful batsmen in IPL 4 and IPL 5. Playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), he always created panic among the opposition bowlers with his explosive batting.
