TNI Bureau: Salman Khan starrer ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ (ETT) is a complete ‘Paisa Wasool’ film. The long awaited movie, which was released on the 66th Independence Day, may have certain loopholes for micro-analyzers. But for Salman Khan’s fans, the film is a rocking one. Surely, it comes under the must watch category.
Actually pre-release Promos and music had created such a huge buzz for the film that audience even could not be satisfied even after getting the optimum, but certainly the film has many exultant points to its credit. May it be the robust action sequences or the burly physique of eligible bachelor Salman, or the gorgeous Katrina, they all rock.
Story of the film revolves around the ‘ek tiger’ Salman Khan, who happens to be a RAW agent in the Indian government. ‘Tiger’ is the codename of the cop. He has been assigned with a hard-hitting mission to Dublin to track important details of an Indian Professor who makes high profile missiles.
During execution of the mission Tiger comes across Zoya (Katrina Kaif), the caretaker of the Professor and falls in love with her and then a lot of twists, action scenes and the climax. And yes, during the love seasons, some captivating songs aids to the plot.
Coming to performances, Salman Khan is perfect both as a RAW agent and a fierce fighter with some of his classic action styles.
Katrina looks stunning and has done a marvelous job. Even she has done some action sequence herself, which is a new thing for the malleable diva. Both Salman and Katrina is the best thing to observe throughout the film.
Amid the buzz of Salman and Katrina’s real life up and down love stories, chemistry between the duos in the film seems excellent.
Story conception is the same agent-story, but the number of twists, makes it much interesting.
Also YRF have not left any stone unturned to shoot the action thriller at some most beautiful locations of the world including Cuba, Istanbul and Dublin.
The least things that we don’t like about the film are, first half tends to be a bit slow in the opening moments, but it picks up once the twists in the story are unveiled. Also the abundance of action scenes have not left any space for others to come in. So, people who are fans of other characteristics of Salman, may not like a bit. But, above all, ETT is a complete entertainer along with its MASALA factors.
Music of the film is excellent and aids much to the run of the story.
Besides that, cinematography is excellent. Action scenes can be compared with that of Hollywood standard and also stylish.
Director Kabir Khan has offered his best. In whole, Ek Tha Tiger is a must see and Paisa Wasool both for Sallu bhai fans and others. Go the theatre in a mood to be entertained, and not with a judge’s brain to dissect what is good and what is bad – and you will enjoy the film.
