Not just cricket, Basant left an impression on the society through social service such as blood donation – a noble act meant to save lives.
Basant Nim Shrestha hogged the limelight at the Blood Donation Camp organised by Odisha-Mo Parivar at Rajgangpur on December 26 when he inaugurated the event and also led from the front by donating blood.
Basant’s noble gesture was welcomed by all. It also served as a motivation for others with 108 units of blood being collected at that camp in a single day.
Basant has been receiving accolade for his dedication towards the cause of saving lives. He was felicitated by Odisha-Mo Parivar.
