“Without waiting anybody, the Congress party will move on, and any kind of indiscipline in the party will not be tolerated,” said newly appointed Odisha Congress Commitee President Jaydev Jena while appealing all the party activists to work in unison to oust Naveen government.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Jena vehemently criticised the Naveen government for numerous corruption charges and alleged that the state government had been playing politics on the Central government assistance.
“The State government is distributing only 25 kg of rice per BPL family even though the Centre allots 35 kg of rice per family. The people of the state should file an FIR against the State government for looting 10kg of rice from every BPL family of the state”, said Mr. Jena.
The leader also appealed to all Congress workers to reach out to the people and expose the BJD government’s involvement in various corrupt deeds from mining sector to agriculture and from implementation of developmental schemes to recent involvement in chit fund scams in the State.
Though almost all Congress stalwarts were seen at the welcome ceremony, the leaders of “Patnaik camp” however were missing.
