Delhi Gangrape Victim shifted to Singapore, Remains Critical

Date:

TNI Bureau: The 23-year-old gangrape victim was finally shifted to Singapore for further treatment after her condition deteriorated on Wednesday morning. She was admitted to the ICU of the Mount Elizabeth hospital where Tamil superstar Rajinikanth was treated last year.

The government will bear all the expenses, even issued to family of the survivor. The decision to shift her to Singapore for the treatment came after the team of doctors advised the government. It is said that Mount Elizabeth hospital has multi-organ transplant facility. Along with the patient and her family, two doctors also flew in the air ambulance.

However, government circulated no information to media regarding the shifting of the victim. Even the time to time medical bulletin was not given yesterday after her condition remained critical.

The entire nation is praying for her speedy recovery. She is still fighting for life after being gangraped by six people. The doctors at Safdarjung hospital performed several surgeries on her. However, she continued to be critical as her intestines have been damaged.

The heinous incident sparked massive protests in Delhi and it is continuing demanding the justice for the victim.
