The Rajasthan Royals scored an emphatic 30-run victory over the Highveld Lions – their second consecutive victory in the Champions League Twenty20 (CLT20). In the first match, they had beaten the Mumbai Indians.

Lions won the toss and elected to field first. Royals scored 183/5 in 20 overs. Dravid (31), Watson (33), Binny (38) and Brad Hodge (46*) were the top scorers. Lonwabo Tsotsobe and Dwaine Pretorius took two wickets each.
In reply, Lions finished at 153/9 in 20 overs and lost the match by 30 runs. Hardus Viljoen (24), Alviro Petersen (40) and Thamo Tsolekile (21) were the top contributors. Pravin Tambe took four wickets. He was declared ‘Man of the Match’.
