Bhubaneswar: Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) examination for Arts, Science and Commerce streams began today. The exam authorities received a big breather after the agitating junior college lecturers decided to join the exam duty.
Over 2 lakh 80 thousand students will appear the first test MIL (Odia, Alt-Eng, Hindi, Telugu, Bengali etc) today at 1070 exam centres across the state. The exam will be conducted in two shifts for three streams. The first sitting will start at 10 am and continue till 1 pm. The students will appear the second sitting at 2 pm and it will be over at 5 pm.
There is a little change in question pattern that includes objective type questions of 70 marks and subjective questions of 30 marks. The new question pattern will help the studious students to secure more percentage in the exam.
The CHSE authorities have made special arrangements to keep the question papers in tight security, At least 157 nodal centres have been made to store the question papers.
