Chiranjeevi boosts Congress Cadres in Odisha

While ruling BJD looks stronger for its impressive works and various developmental schemes, Odisha Congress followed an old strategy to influence the voters and roped in the film star-turned-politician K Chiranjeevi to campaign for the party during next elections.

Union Minister of State for Tourism Chiranjeevi also gave his nod after The Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) president Niranjan Patnaik requested him to campaign for the party. The south superstar also confirmed it while speaking at a felicitation function on Thursday at the Congress Bhavan in Bhubaneswar.

During his visit to the state, he inaugurated a new campus of Indian Institute of Tourism and Travel Management (IITTM) at Dumduma.

OPCC president requested Chiranjeevi to visit Odisha once a month for the party work and influence the voters. The plan may work as he has a large number of fans in the state.
