Chennai scores 6th Straight Win in IPL 6

The Chennai Super Kings have emerged as the clear favourite to win the IPL 6 with victories one after another. They registered their sixth consecutive victory in the tournament to retain the top slot in the points table.

Earlier, Chennai won the toss and elected to bat first. They posted 164/3 in 50 overs, thanks to Raina (63*), Badrinath (34) and Dhoni (45* off 16 balls). In reply, Pune Warriors India finished at 127/7 in 20 overs and lost the match by 37 runs.

Steven Smith scored 35, while Kane Richardson (26) and Bhuvneshwar Kumar (24*) were the other contributors. Mohit Sharma took three wickets. Dhoni was declared ‘Man of the Match’.
