BSE Sensex breaches 20,000-mark after Two Years

TNI Bureau: The sensex breached the 20,000-mark for the first time in the opening trade after two years, which was better than the expected. The BSE touched 20,007.09 by gaining over 100 points in early hours. However, it immediately slipped to 19,938.01.

The BSE is still up by 31.60 points as compared to yesterday’s close.

Similarly, the national stock exchange Nifty rose up by 3.35 points, or 0.06 per cent, to 6,027.40 today. The software industry was seen on the profit making row in the opening trade. While TCS jumped by 3 per cent to Rs 1,374.35, Wipro gained 0.67 per cent to Rs 420.70.
