TNI Bureau: One more suspect has been arrested from Davangere for having links with international terror outfits. He is the 18th man to have been arrested in connection with the terror crackdown in Karnataka.
The suspect was identified as Dr Nayueem Siddique. He was reportedly working as a recruiter for the terror organisation. Police arrested him on Sunday night and seized a laptop, phones and cash.
Police have arrested 18 people so far including Siddique. Police have been looking for the suspects involved in various anti-national activities.
Earlier, a student was arrested in Hyderabad and four others were arrested from Nanded in Maharashtra. One journalist named as Muti Ur-Reheman Siddique, working with an English daily has been arrested for having terror links with Lashkar-e-Toiba and HuJI.
