The 26-year old was arrested on Friday evening, a day after the Bangalore police claimed to have busted a terror module arresting 11 people including journalist with a popular English daily and a DRDO engineer for having terror links with Lashkar-e-Toiba and HuJI.

Sources said that the accused were planning to kill a prominent columnist on Wednesday as he had written an anti-Islam article for the Kannada newspaper with which he was working. All have been sent to 14-day police custody.

Meanwhile, four Indian Mujahideen activists involved in the 2010 Chinnaswamy Stadium blast case were held in Bangalore on Thursday.
