TNI Bureau: While senior BJP leaders Yashwant Sinha and Ram Jethmalani came out in support of Narendra Modi as the Prime Ministerial candidate of the BJP, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut revealed that late Balasaheb Thackeray had wanted Sushma Swaraj to be the Prime Minister of the country.
Sanjay Raut further revealed that Shiv Sena President Uddhav Thackeray remains committed to Balasaheb’s choice. Earlier, Ram Jethmalani called Modi a “hundred per cent secular leader” and said the Gujarat CM is the most capable leader to become the Prime Minister.
The chorus for “Modi as PM” has intensified within the BJP. However, allies like JD(U) and Shiv Sena may scuttle Modi’s plan to conquer Delhi.
