‘Welcome Back’: Amitabh to marry Rekha!

A far probability of Amitabh Bachchan marrying his yester year’s love Rekha, can’t be set aside, since the duo is going to work together in Anees Bazmee’s ‘Welcome Back’, the sequel of Akshya Kumar starrer super hit comedy ‘Welcome’. Of course the deal is yet to be finalized, but as audience, any development in the most talked about love of Bollywood, the Amitabh-Rekha saga, is a spicy subject and so the ‘Welcome Back’ team should put their maximum effort to see the deal executed.

The most popular ‘love & betrayal’ story of Superstar Amitabh Bachcan and yester year’s glamour girl Rekha is known to all. The legendary two acted in a number of film and many rumours of their love, echoed in Bollywood then. But finally Big B preferred Jaya and the couple have lived a perfect married life of 25 years.

Falling in love with the co-artist during shooting of a film is a big probability. Many love stories of Bollywood have been converted to marriage via this practice. Also, going for a second marriage is not a big deal in Bollywood. Many stars have married for several times one after one.

Confirming the news, Bazmee informed that they are considering Rekha for the role that Mallika Sherawat had done in the original. The role is all about love-trapping both Nana Patekar and Anil Kapoor. Interestingly, it is believed that Rekha is still a glamour icon, who can be put in the film, where Bachchan sir is expected to play RDX, the role that was played by Feroz Khan in the original film.

Amitabh and Rekha were seen together in Silsila (1981), three decades back. It was a film on extramarital affair that also starred Jaya Bachchan, wife of Amitabh. So, watching Big B and Rekha, sharing screen in the upcoming comedy movie, will be a sweet experience. The famous love story of Bollywood may witness a latest development after a break of 3 decades.
