Advani hails Modi, backs him as PM Candidate

In an unprecedented development, which will bring huge relief to the BJP leadership and all cadres, party Patriarch LK Advani has praised Narendra Modi for his great work in power sector in Gujarat and also backed him as the party’s Prime Ministerial candidate.

“Modi has ensured power in every village in Gujarat, which nobody else did. During his rule, Gujarat has witnessed the maximum growth”, said Advani in a public meeting in Chhattisgarh.

Advani also sought to clear the controversy, saying he is very happy with the decision to anoint Narendra Modi as BJP and NDA’s Prime Ministerial candidate, a clear departure from his earlier stand when he skipped the BJP Parliamentary Board meeting that coronated Modi. It is believed that Advani was not upset with Modi, but he was disappointed with the intervention of RSS in BJP’s political matters.
