TNI Bureau: Following the instruction of the Congress High Command Sonia Gandhi, Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde met the top Delhi police officials on Wednesday to discuss how to prevent such crimes, which are occurring again and again and the city has turned into the Rape capital.
Addressing in Rajya Sabha on action in gangrape case, Shinde said that action must be taken on the vehicles with tinted glasses. He said that the Delhi police vehicles should have GPS to prevent the crime.
As the gangrape had occurred in the private bus, he said that the private buses will be parked with owners, not the drivers. Police will verify the busses, the drivers and the owners.
Police patrolling will be conducted every hour to prevent such heinous act in the city. The tinted glasses and curtains will be removed from buses and the driver’s number and licence will be displayed on the bus.
