TNI Bureau: A day after he revealed that some internal pressure prevented the sacking of MS Dhoni as the captain even though the selectors agreed on it, former selector Mohinder Amarnath dropped a bombshell by naming BCCI President N Srinivasan in this controversy.

Amarnath disclosed all five selectors led by Kris Srikkanth had decided to sack Dhoni in the Tests after the debacle in England and Australia. However, Srinivasan used his clout to stop the decision from being carried out.

Amarnath also admitted that some external pressure too worked in favour of Dhoni, as the selection committee came under tremendous pressure on this issue.
