Drought-hit areas in Odisha to be declared by Oct 30

Special Relief Commissioner Bishnupad Sethi has confirmed that Govt is examining Collectors’ reports and all drought-hit areas to be declared by October 30.

Revenue Minister Maheswar Mohanty added that 3.15 lakh hectares land in 70 blocks of 15 districts are drought affected and reports to be submitted to CM during Oct 27 meeting.
