TNI Bureau: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma expressed gratitude to Rajya Sabha MP and Chairman and Managing Director of the Mayfair Group of Hotels, Dilip Ray for his contribution to the Assam Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to support flood hit Assam.
Dilip Ray, accompanied by Industrialist Ratan Sharma, Chairman of the Satyam Group and Managing Director of Mayfair Spring Valley Resort in Guwahati and his son Harsh Sharma met Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma and contributed to the Assam CMRF as part of an initiative to support people in need.
“Really appreciate this noble gesture from Shri @DilipRayOdisha ji who contributed towards the CM Relief Fund. This gesture reflects the best spirit of Ek Bharat, Shreshth Bharat where every State comes forward to contribute towards each other’s welfare”, posted Himanta Biswa Sarma on X.

It is pertinent to mention here that more than 46,000 people are reeling under floods in Assam as rising of rivers continue.
