Catastrophe for Delhi, suffer 6th Straight Loss

Delhi Daredevils’ disastrous run in the IPL 6 continued unabated, as the team lost to their 6th straight loss tonight. Sehwag failed to lead from the front, as Daredevils lost to Chennai Super Kings by 86 runs. Chennai became the first team to register 50th victory in IPL.

Earlier, CSK won the toss and elected to bat first. They posted 169/4 in 20 overs. Michael Hussey remained unbeaten on 68, while Suresh Raina made 30. Skipper MS Dhoni scored 44 off 23 balls.

Chasing a victory target of 170, Delhi kept losing wickets at regular intervals and bowled out for 83 in 17.3 overs – their lowest-ever IPL score. Kedar Jadhav was the top scorer with 31. Mohit Sharma took three wickets, while Ashwin took two wickets. Mike Hussey was declared ‘Man of the Match’.
