Press Release: India Japan Friendship Center (IJFC) celebrated the 60th anniversary of Japan-India Diplomatic Relations at Chandra Sekhar Academy in Puri. Many artists from Japan were invited to play music like guitar and drums at the cultural event on December 10 in Balighai.
Talking about the association, he said that it has helped to invite people from Japan to India to show our culture and tradition, which are appreciated all over the world. He said that both the countries have enhanced and consolidated their Strategic and Global Partnership and Japan considers it as a privilege to work together with Indian in promoting peace, political stability and economic prosperity.
Even India extended its supportive hands to the country when Japan’s economy was weak after the devastating earthquake that triggered Tsunami on March 11, 2011. It is the diplomatic ties that helped both the countries to exchange their culture. “We would be having intellectual exchanges among scholars journalists of Japan and India through the cooperation of think-tanks and media organizations of both countries to exchange opinion on various topics of common interest”, he said.
Talking about the event, he said that it is a great opportunity through which we can showcase the best modern Japanese technology, which can be available to Indian people.
