The 2015 Cricket World Cup will commence from February 14 in Australia and New Zealand. Arch-rivals India and Pakistan, which have been placed in the same group, will take on each other on February 15.
India, Pakistan, South Africa, West Indies, Zimbabwe, Ireland and one qualifying team will be in Pool B. Pool A will feature England, Australia, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, New Zealand and the two other qualifying teams.
In total, 49 matches will be played across 14 venues in Australia and New Zealand. Australia will host 26 matches in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Hobart, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney. New Zealand will host 23 games in Christchurch, Auckland, Dunedin, Hamilton, Napier, Nelson and Wellington.
Australia and New Zealand had hosted the 1992 World Cup, which was won by Pakistan. This time, both Boards will leave no stones unturned to make it a huge success.
