This was the second consecutive day that the bees stung visitors to the world famous heritage site, around 65 km from state capital Bhubaneswar. On Monday too, honey bees attacked tourists to the temple.
According to sources, the scared tourists vacated the temple premises after the 15 visitors, including four foreigners and two tourists from Chhattisgarh, were injured.
An official of the Archaeological Survey of India said they were trying to take steps to remove the bee hives from the temple premises. The sale of tickets was put on hold temporarily.
