TNI Bureau: Hinduja Group flagship firm Ashok Leyland has supplied 100 ‘Falcon’ buses to Ghana for $7.6 million (about Rs 42 crore). This is the second major order from the West African country after the induction of 160 waste management trucks.
The firm while filing to the BSE confirmed the deal with the transport company Metro Mass Transit Ltd, in which the Government of Ghana has 45 per cent stake.
The Falcon busses will be running on the 360 routes across Ghana. All the 57-seater buses are left-hand drive.
